Big Night Maine Amphibian ID Cards

Our new beautifully designed and illustrated Amphibian ID cards are ready for spring! These heavyweight 8.5X11" laminated cards can take the wet weather of frog and salamander searches, with Maine's frog species on one side and Maine's salamanders on the other, in life-sized detail with a ruler to help with ID in the field. We created these for the Maine Big Night Amphibian Migration Monitoring project. You can find them on Facebook for more information. Big night is usually the first rainy evening where the temperature is over 50 degrees, when many frogs and salamanders come out of hibernation to find vernal pools to breed in.
